Temptation Road by Kimball Lee

Kimball Lee had break out success with Surrendering Charlotte Chronicles in the 2013 and hasn’t looked back. The topics of her novels and novella-series will vary, but her style of writing remains the same. Kimball doesn’t write 700 page books padded with useless words that take three pages to describe a doorknob. She does write funny, interesting, happy, sad, romantic, often titillating, and always thought provoking books that pack a lot good reading into just the right number of pages. Lee’s first novella, Legal Action, changed her life over night with more than 200,000 downloads in the first 90 days of publication. Kimball writes twelve to fifteen hours a day and she loves ALMOST every minute of it! Kimball Lee is represented by Joyce Holland at D4EO Literary Agency. Connect with Kimball via her social media networks, she actively engages her readers and shares some really great content!

Q) What inspired you to write this story?
I had taken a road trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway and just imagined how wonderful it would be to start a whole new fairytale life in one of the amazing old Victorian homes, with some mysterious and sexy guy like Johnny Depp!

Q) How long did it take you to write?
It took me about a month to write and polish, it wasn’t the only thing I was working on. I just went to it when I was inspired. I never forced it.

Q) What is your favorite thing about writing?
It lets me create an actual world filled with characters that my readers can connect with, and it allows me a fun escape from reality.

Q) What is your least favorite thing about writing?
Actually making my fingers type out what is already a complete story inside of my head!

Q) If you could be any famous person for one day, who would you be and why?
Albert Einstein, because to live inside of that brain for any amount of time would have be amazing, to know what he knew, to see things the way he saw them.

Q) What is the oldest thing in your fridge and how old is it?
A bottle of wine, that probably isn’t the kind that gets better with age! Its been there longer than I can remember, that’s all I will say!

Q) What can readers expect from you in the future?
They can expect that my writing and characters will get better and better. I constantly have characters chattering in my head and they are just dying to get out and tell their stories. So I will be busy!
